At the heart of both devices is an exceptionally robust ceramic pressure sensor, representing a further development of the proven sensor design. It delivers excellent signal performance and temperature stability, ensuring accurate and reliable measurement results even under demanding operating conditions.
Process Connection Options
Stainless steel is used as standard for process connections. For applications requiring specific levels of media resistance, alternative materials such as PP, PVDF, and PEEK are also available. This allows both models to be tailored to demanding operating environments and aggressive media.
In addition, both pressure transmitters are certified for drinking water applications in accordance with DVGW hygiene requirements, making them suitable for use in drinking water supply systems.
Electrical Integration
The DMK 387 and DCT 571 also offer a wide range of options for electrical integration. Depending on the application requirements, various electrical connection options are available, including ISO 4400 and M12 connectors, as well as different cable configurations. This flexibility accommodates a wide variety of installation scenarios, with protection ratings ranging from IP65 to IP68.
When it comes to signal transmission, users can choose the solution best suited to their system and automation requirements: The DMK 387 features an analog output signal, while the DCT 571 supports digital communication via RS485 / Modbus.
For applications in potentially explosive atmospheres, the DMK 387 is also available in an ATEX-certified version.
