In mid-November, BD|SENSORS was visited by a delegation of entrepreneurs from China. They were looked after by the SME Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and were invited to Germany to talk with local SMEs about dual vocational education and the challenges caused by generation changes within the management board.
Together with MP Dr. Hans-Peter Friedrich, “Chairman of the German/Chinese Parliamentary Group” in the German Bundestag, the group also stopped off at BD|SENSORS in Thierstein. Assisted by an interpreter, CEO Rainer Denndörfer introduced the family business BD|SENSORS and answered a number of questions about the company’s hierarchy and distribution of tasks. This was followed by a tour of the company through the pressure sensor and pressure transmission production facilities. The visitors were thoroughly impressed by the incredibly high number of product variants as well as the company’s enormous flexibility and problem-solving expertise.
BD|SENSORS was able to impressively demonstrate its special position in the global market of electronic pressure measurement technology for industrial applications.
