In concrete, €1,000 will go to each of the facilities run by the Höchstädt-Thierstein Daycare Association – the Noah's Ark Children's Home, the Spatzennest Daycare Center, and the Fichtelkids After-School Care Center – as well as the Thierstein-Höchstädt Elementary School. This means that a total of €4,000 will be available for childcare and education. With this commitment, BD|SENSORS wants to emphasize its local ties to the region and to both communities.
The official handover of the donations took place in the presence of Thomas Schobert, chairman of the association, the association's management, the managers of the three daycare centers, and, representing the elementary school, school association chairman Gerald Bauer and principal Colette Silbermann.
All facilities already have specific purchase requests – for example, a mud pit is to be renovated and items for the outdoor play areas are to be purchased.
BD|SENSORS hopes that the children in the facilities will enjoy the improvements.
