BD|SENSORS has been supporting the Leben und Lernen [Life and Learning] association in Kenya with sponsorships and financial aid for many years. At the end of 2021, they continued this tradition by handing over a cheque for €1,000 in front of the Christmas tree in Selb.
The money will be used for regular meals, medical supplies and for schooling the children in the institution in Nakuru. Brique Zeiner, Chairperson of the Association, thanked BD|SENSORS warmly for the annual donation.
She talked about the local situation and proudly reported that thanks to the donations that were raised, a training institute has opened in recent months in which school leavers can take up apprenticeships in areas such as tailoring or hairdressing.
